Curvestone joins the FCA Regulatory Sandbox
Curvestone has been accepted into the FCA Regulatory Sandbox, enabling the company to test its AI compliance automation platform in a controlled regulatory environment.
Curvestone has been accepted into Cohort 12 of the FCA Regulatory Sandbox, the programme that allows innovative firms to test regulated products and services in a controlled environment with real consumers under FCA oversight.
Participation in the Sandbox will allow Curvestone to work directly with the FCA to validate its approach to AI-assisted compliance decision-making — including the explainability of AI outputs, the human oversight model, and the audit trail requirements for regulated firms using the platform.
"Being accepted into the FCA Sandbox is a strong signal that the regulator sees AI compliance automation as a legitimate and important development in how regulated firms manage their obligations," said the Curvestone Compliance Lead. "We look forward to working closely with the FCA team over the coming months."
